My name is Javed Kamruddin, though you probably guessed that from the site address. I'm a British guy of Pakistani and Australian descent and though I've travelled widely, Greater London has been my home for most of my life.
Cricket, Ultimate Frisbee, football, road cycling, cross country mountain biking and mountaineering are all sports and activities I love spending my time doing. I watch a lot of sport on TV, less now than when I was studying though.
Though I'm not really that musical I love my music. My collection ranges from house to hip hop, classical to trance though my preference would be for funky house or chilled beats. These are the tracks I own on vinyl and play whenever I DJ.
I became a Christian when I was 15 years old and have seen God do some amazing things in my life and the lives of those around me. One such thing was showing me He values me and has a purpose for my life.
While studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College I discovered God's purpose for me was to be in vocational ministry, focussed on young adults and especially those in the club scene.
So many people in the club scene are students, so campus ministry presents a great opportunity for reaching clubbers and transforming the club scene through the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
After studying at Fuller Theological Seminary and the Every Nation School of Campus Ministry I have returned to London as a missionary focussed on students.
